The VMG Construction team was blessed to be able to celebrate together at our annual Christmas party on December 6th at Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse. We are incredibly fortunate to have such a driven and dedicated team as we continue to build for the future across the State of Florida.

As we look ahead to 2025, we are excited and grateful for the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead as well as the relationships we share with all of our industry wide partners. Together we will continue to accomplish great things.

Exciting Times Ahead for VMG Construction!

We’re thrilled to announce that VMG is expanding into the North Florida region, thanks to Wharton-Smith, Inc. Our Wastewater Division is kicking off with a Biosolids project, where we’ll be pouring a third of the slab, totaling 800+ cubic yards of concrete.

This project not only strengthens our footprint in the region but also allows us to showcase the quality and precision that define our work. We’re excited to bring our expertise in wastewater solutions to North Florida!

Today marks a significant milestone as we begin the tilt-up process for the new Niblack Elementary School

Today marks a significant milestone as we begin the tilt-up process for the new Niblack Elementary School with COLUMBIA COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT and Gilbane Building Company.  For generations, this school has held countless memories, and we’re honored to be part of building the next chapter.

Our team is hard at work installing 92 panels. A huge shoutout to our Project Manager, Manny Walker, leading the charge, with Project Executive Larry Sease and Superintendent Oscar Franco keeping everything on track. If the weather stays on our side, we’re looking to complete this phase in about 5 days!

Here’s to a bright future for Niblack Elementary and the many memories still to come!

Milestone achieved! The VMG team has officially begun the tilt panel erection for the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office Administration Building. This is a testament to our team’s dedication, precision, and commitment to quality—even as we navigate challenging weather conditions.

Next, we’ll be tackling the Supervisor of Elections Building in the same area, reinforcing our footprint on Florida’s west coast. Thanks to Wharton-Smith, Inc.  for trusting us with these impactful projects. We’re proud to bring our expertise in tilt-wall construction to communities across the region!

12 Weeks In: Milestone Reached at Minneola Hills K8 Thanks to Our Amazing Crew!

Happy to share that our amazing crew has achieved a significant milestone in just 12 weeks! We’ve successfully begun tilting panels efficiently and safely, all thanks to the relentless dedication and teamwork of our entire team and the unwavering support from our safety department. Looking forward to this new Lake County Schools Minneola Hills K8. VMG CONSTRUCTION INC. is happy to be a trade partner of Wharton-Smith, Inc. and GSB Construction & Development, Inc. on this project.  

Laying the Foundations: Progress on OCPS Sites 129 and 130

It’s always rewarding to see the progress of projects during the erection phase. However, there’s something uniquely satisfying about starting from the ground up—laying the foundations and monitoring every step of the process. Watching a project evolve from a blueprint to a completed project and next to it starting a new one. Completed project OCPS Site 129 and starting on OCPS site 130 for Orange County Public Schools and WALKER & COMPANY. 
We are confident that our dedicated team will do a great job lead by Alfredo Sandoval ,Jack Mills, Duane Pomaibo.

Together Towards Success: Our Work on Site 50

After 17 months of relentless hard work and unwavering dedication, we’re on the brink of completing this new Orange County Public Schools Site 50 for CORE Construction. With just part of the site concrete left to do, it’s incredible to see how far we’ve come. From countless hours of planning to overcoming obstacles, every step has brought us closer to success. We are immensely proud of our team’s resilience and commitment.
