This 175,000 SF campus was constructed in Windermere and consists of 4 buildings, including classrooms, media center, gymnasium, cafetorium and dedicated spaces for performing arts. This prototype design was also previously built in the Lake Nona area and opened there as Innovation Middle School. The VMG scope of work at Horizon West Middle School included concrete tilt wall panels, cast-in-place stairs, hollow core and site hardscape.
Horizon High School, home to the Hawks, is a 350,000 SF new high school situated along SR 429 in West Orange County. This project consists of 10 buildings and includes an auditorium, gymnasium, media center, classrooms and on-site baseball, softball and football fields. The VMG scope of work included concrete tilt wall panels, cast-in-place stairs, masonry walls and site hardscape. The new high school was needed to relieve overcrowding at Windermere High School due to the fast-paced growth in the Horizon West community.
Bent Oak 250 is a 188,000-square-foot speculative warehouse located within the Bent Oak Industrial Park in Orlando, Florida. Designed as a front-loading facility, it features 53 dock doors and two access ramps, providing flexibility for various tenant needs. The warehouse is equipped with essential infrastructure to accommodate future tenant buildouts, ensuring a seamless transition for occupants.The development of Bent Oak 250 reflects the growing demand for industrial space in the Orlando area, providing modern facilities to support various business operations.
The Midpoint Florida Logistics Center, located in Auburndale, Florida, is a two-building industrial park.which includes two cross-dock warehouse buildings measuring 470,000 and 420,000 square feet. Strategically positioned with frontage on I-4, the logistics center offers 36-foot clear heights, 184 dock-high doors, and ample parking for cars and trailers. The development was completed in the second quarter of 2023.
In August 2023, we served as a subcontractor for the Aurelia M. Cole Academy project, a PreK-8th grade school named after Aurelia McKinney Cole, a pioneering educator in Lake County. The academy, offers performing arts, a STEAM curriculum, and a Cambridge program foundation, supporting up to 1,200 students. This project honors Mrs. Cole’s legacy of high expectations and dedication to student success.
The AAA Davenport High School project in Davenport, Florida, is a 345,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art prototype school. It includes 3 story classroom buildings, administration offices, an 800-seat auditorium, gym, cafeteria, culinary arts facilities, fine arts classrooms, and a central courtyard with elevated walkways. The campus also features sports fields with stadium amenities for football, baseball, and softball, and covers 65 acres in northwest Polk County with a tilt-up design.
